Commercial Painting — Job Safety Analysis

Covers painting of commercial premises including offices, retail, warehousing and multi-storey buildings. Includes large-area wall and ceiling preparation and coating, use of airless spray equipment, scaffold access systems and coordination with other trades in active construction zones in accordance with AS/NZS 2311.

Using This JSA On Site

Work through the JSA at the start of the shift, in front of the crew, before the task begins. Read the steps out, confirm the controls are actually in place that day, write anything site-specific into the blank rows, and have everyone sign on. Keep it alongside your SWMS rather than instead of it.
